Who We’re Looking For
We are searching for top-tier Construction Superintendents who bring:
- 3–5+ years of construction field experience
- Experience in multifamily or commercial renovations
- A strong background in large-scale exterior and interior rehabilitation projects
- Hands-on estimating and field takeoff experience
- The ability to walk an existing property and quickly develop a deep understanding of its construction components and existing conditions
- A strong understanding of building systems, materials, assemblies, and construction methods
- The ability to accurately measure, quantify, and document work in the field
- Experience developing scopes of work and assisting with project estimates
- A solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to lead crews and subcontractors effectively
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Comfort with modern construction technology and project management tools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients, ownership, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors

Project Types You’ll Lead & Assess
Our projects are large-scale renovation, restoration, and capital improvement work across the multifamily and commercial sectors, including:
- Large-scale roofing replacements
- Interior unit upgrades
- Exterior painting programs
- Re-cladding and envelope remediation
- Waterproofing and building envelope repairs
- Concrete and structural repairs
- Carpentry and exterior repairs
- Capital improvement projects
- Multifamily renovations and repositioning projects
Our Superintendents are the leaders on the ground, responsible for bringing projects to life with precision, speed, quality, and accountability.
What You’ll Do Field Operations
As a Superintendent at Xalted Construction Group, you will:
- Lead day-to-day jobsite operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Manage project sequencing and production
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Maintain strict safety and quality standards
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
- Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, ownership, and subcontractors
- Solve problems quickly and proactively in the field
- Document project progress, existing conditions, deficiencies, and completed work
- Represent Xalted’s commitment to professionalism and excellence
Field Assessment & Estimating
A key component of this position is the ability to evaluate construction in the field and translate what you see into a scope and cost.
You will:
- Conduct detailed field assessments of existing buildings and properties
- Identify construction deficiencies, damage, deterioration, and required repairs
- Develop a thorough understanding of existing building conditions and construction assemblies
- Perform in-field measurements and takeoffs
- Quantify materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor scopes
- Develop detailed scopes of work based on field conditions
- Assist in preparing estimates for renovation, restoration, and capital improvement projects
- Review drawings, specifications, reports, photos, and other project documentation
- Compare estimated scope against actual field conditions
- Identify potential scope gaps, hidden conditions, constructability issues, and additional work
- Assist with change order pricing and field-driven scope development
- Work with Project Managers and Estimators to ensure projects are properly scoped and priced
- Identify opportunities for value engineering and more efficient construction methods
We are specifically looking for someone who has performed takeoffs in the field—not someone whose estimating experience has been limited to sitting behind a computer pricing plans.
You should be able to walk a property and answer questions such as:
What is this building made of? What is wrong with it? What needs to be done? How much of it needs to be done? How would you build it? What will it take to build it?
That combination of field experience, construction knowledge, and estimating ability is what makes this position unique.

Qualifications
Required:
- 3–5+ years of construction field experience
- Multifamily, commercial, renovation, restoration, or capital improvement experience
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field operations
- Strong understanding of construction methods and building components
- Experience performing field measurements and takeoffs
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience estimating renovation or restoration projects
- Experience with Xactimate, JobProgress, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
- Roofing, exterior envelope, waterproofing, concrete, or multifamily renovation experience
- Experience working with occupied multifamily properties
- Experience identifying existing conditions and developing repair scopes
- Ability to independently assess a project and develop a preliminary budget
Location
Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Travel throughout the DFW Metroplex and other Texas markets may be required based on project needs.
Compensation
$70,000–$100,000+ depending on experience, plus incentive package
Compensation will be based on experience, construction knowledge, estimating capabilities, leadership ability, and overall fit.
